Our CV 34 Bursaries are means-tested financial assistance for families with live within the CV34 postcode area.
We will cover up to 100% of fees plus associated schooling costs depending on financial eligibility and your child meeting the entry requirements to the school of their choice at 7+, 11+ or 16+.
Starting in September 2025, we are proud to extend the CV34 Award Programme to those children entering in 7+ (Year 3), in addition to the 11+ (Year 7) and 16+ (Lower Sixth) entry points.
Our unwavering commitment is to increase accessibility to outstanding educational opportunities and support as many young people as possible to reach their full potential. With the extension of the CV34 Award Programme to those entering in Year 3, this now means that eligible candidates can be supported throughout their entire journey with us at Warwick Schools Foundation.
The support available is based on a combination of the following:
If your child qualifies for a bursary place, they will also receive support towards other school costs. This will be applied at the same rate as the bursary – so for example, if the bursary covers 50% of fees, then half of the amounts in the table below will also be covered.
Example for 2024/25 academic year:
Uniform – up to £750 over 7 years (between Year 7 and Year 13)
Essential curriculum trips – up to £600 over 7 years (between Year 7 and Year 13)
Bring Your Own Device – up to £1,000 over 7 years (to cover two devices in that time)
Please note that if your child qualifies for free school meals, then there will be no additional charge for lunches.
The amount of support offered is on a sliding scale. You could be eligible if your total gross household income does not exceed £99,025. You are likely to be successful with your application if:
Your family does not have considerable capital savings, investments or equity.
You do not have indicators of wealth such as new and luxury cars, owning second homes or considerable property in the form of land.
In the instance where you are separated from your partner, both of your incomes do not exceed the gross household sum of £99,025.
Where there are special circumstances, for instance a 'No Contact Order', we can offer additional support with your application, so please do get in touch.
Other wider family members, un-related adults or outside sources do not contribute to household costs, which would otherwise be used as a priority for school fees.
You are not already paying full fees for another child elsewhere.
Please note, there is a competitive element to bursary grant, and your child’s results in the entrance examination, interview, and report will be taken into consideration alongside means testing and the overall demand.
If you have any questions or would like further guidance with your application, you can speak to our dedicated Community Liaison Officer, Clare Sawdon. Clare is on hand to help explain the application process and give you a better sense of life at the school of your choice.
